TPI is the combined vision of David, Peter, and Marc—eyewear industry veterans, tech geeks, and entrepreneurial dreamers. They came together in 2018 to give life to a dream to change the future of eyewear.

The growing, global TPI team

Since then, TPI grew its team and leveraged advances in 3D printing. Today this global team includes a consortium of major printing companies and leading engineering universities, as well as software engineers, color specialists, and 3D eyewear designers.  All living the dream. TPI is the place where manufacturing, design, and innovation converge to build the future of eyewear.

With resources in the U.S., the U.K., China, the Netherlands, and Ukraine, as well as cutting-edge technology in hand, we are a remote team of eyecare professionals, designers, software engineers, and marketers revolutionizing the eyewear industry.

TPI also works with major research universities in the U.S. and is the recipient of numerous exclusive government grants reserved for innovation and technology.

TPI making design dreams a reality

Most recently, TPI began collaborating with independent designers and brands on a series of collections debuting at Vision Expo West and SILMO. Designers such as Anthony Russell and Carmelo Di Termini of Raydiant worked with TPI on collections featuring their unique design influence.

These collections are a call to the optical industry: If you would like to build something special, the TPI team can help you do it fast and at scale.

TPI’s engineers can do the impossible, including sculpting your design to your exact specifications.  The team’s color specialists can turn any frame into a color story. With libraries of colors, shapes, and textures, and software we created ourselves to meet our customers’ exact needs, if you can dream it, we can print it.

Wood grain, masterworks, underwater panoramas—we can design and print them all onto comfortable, versatile eyewear.
